CDL Truck Driver (Stephenville)

Hendershot Equipment is seeking a hard-working and responsible Class A CDL Truck Driver. This position is responsible for the safe operation of trucks for the pickup and delivery of equipment, parts and supplies to and from the dealership..

Sales Consultant - Agriculture/Construction Equipment (Stephenville)

Hendershot Equipment is seeking a sales consultant to develop and manage compact and large agriculture and equipment sales in assigned territories. Candidate is responsible for enhancing business relationships with existing customers and developing business relationships with new customers within their territory to drive sales, profitability and achieve market share goals. Candidate must live in assigned territory.

Specific Duties:

  • Market and sell new and used wholegoods, parts and service as customer solutions and build and maintain long-term relationships to maximize customer satisfaction and company profitability.
  • Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends.
  • Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations as well as operate machinery at customer work site.
  • Use digital system tools, such as CRM, to develop and maintain client profiles and fully document, track and follow up on all related sales activities in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Present a positive and professional image of the Company.
  • Effectively utilize resources and processes that will directly contribute to customer awareness, the proposal and negotiation process, closing sales, profitably increasing volume and revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Complete thorough documentation on all reports and forms required.
  • Attend clinics, seminars and participate in trade shows.
  • Seek and participate in appropriate training opportunities to enhance equipment expertise and sales performance.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work duties.
  • Maintain technical and product knowledge and complete competency assessments as required.
  • Schedule pickup and delivery of equipment as needed and follow-up after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify customer service opportunities and implement solutions.
  • Maintain positive and professional working relationships with peers, management and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Perform all duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be self-motivated, outgoing, detail-minded individual with good analytical skills: with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines efficiently and cost effectively
  • Candidate must be able to provide excellent customer service with the ability to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees.
  • Candidate must be alert, with the ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly without asking for help.
  • Candidate must be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, along with high level of computer literacy – with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Candidate must be organized, with keen attention to detail and a high level of initiative to work independently.
  • Candidate has bachelor’s degree or prior job experience in Business/Finance sector.
  • Candidate possesses some knowledge of construction equipment with an understanding of local market conditions.
  • Candidate must reside within one of the company’s territories (listed above).
  • Candidate must have a clean driving record, valid driver’s license
  • Candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Candidate must be comfortable and knowledgeable with loading and hauling equipment.
