Equipment Service Technician (Decatur)

Hendershot Equipment is seeking a hard-working and responsible individual to fill the service technician position. This position is responsible for performing basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment. Repair may be done on-site or in the field.
  • Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of outdoor power equipment/agricultural equipment.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to use standard computer software applications such as diagnostic software and internet functions.
  • Good skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Rental Coordinator - Decatur, TX

Hendershot Equipment is seeking a hard-working and responsible individual to fill the rental coordinator position. This position is responsible for coordinating rental reservations and maintaining rental equipment upkeep.

Responsibilities include:

  • Determine Customer rental needs daily
  • Complete rental agreements and paperwork accurately
  • Handle telephone inquiries in a professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate records and files
  • Inspect equipment before it goes out and when it is returned, and record information as needed.


  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • A sound working knowledge of machinery is helpful
  • Skillful in basic math
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • A good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and other computer software
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years experience in sales or rental sales a plus
  • Must speak English clearly and write legibly
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
