Construction Equipment Rental Coordinator (Decatur)

Hendershot Equipment is seeking a hard-working and responsible Construction Equipment Rental Coordinator. This position is responsible for the equipment rental process including completing rental agreements, inspecting, loading and routine maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Determine Customer rental needs daily
  • Complete rental agreements and paperwork accurately
  • Handle telephone inquiries in a professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate records and files
  • Inspect equipment before it goes out and when it is returned, and record information as needed.

Requirements:

  • Physically able to lift, shift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • A sound working knowledge of machinery is helpful
  • Skillful in basic math
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • A good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and other computer software
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years experience in sales or rental sales is a plus
  • Must speak English clearly and write legibly
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

Shop/Yard Maintenance (Decatur)

Hendershot Equipment is seeking a hard-working and responsible Yard/Shop Maintenance person. This position ensures the premises is clean, free of debris and safe for all employees and customers. Also responsible for equipment detail and janitorial duties.

Essential Duties

  • Wash equipment daily as instructed by supervisors.
  • Assist in the small engine area as needed.
  • Responsible for clearing and dumping trash throughout the dealership daily.
  • Maintain upkeep of the lot, mowing, edging and spraying.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties assigned to the job and to meet the needs of the dealership.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs

CDL Truck Driver (Stephenville)

Hendershot Equipment is seeking a hard-working and responsible Class A CDL Truck Driver. This position is responsible for the safe operation of trucks for the pickup and delivery of equipment, parts and supplies to and from the dealership..
Qualifications:
  • Class A CDL Driver.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Commercial Driving experience preferred

Staff Accountant/Bookeeper (Stephenville)

Hendershot Equipment is seeking a hard-working and responsible individual to fill the Staff Accountant/Bookeeping position. This position will maintain daily records and journals to facilitate the smooth running of all moneys transacted. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Accounting (preferred)
  • 2 years: General office or bookkeeping experience, including experience with AR/AP and payroll
