With a 20.5 hp (15.3 kW) Kohler CH640 engine, it delivers powerful torque to cut trenches up to 36″ (91.4 cm) deep and 4–6″ (10–15 cm) wide. The machine measures 35″ (88.9 cm) wide, enabling passage through tight spaces like backyard gates. Our model has Tracks, helping maintain traction and minimize ground disturbance on varied terrain types Featuring Vermeer’s Enhanced VZ steering system, operators steer using handlebars for smoother navigation over uneven or soft surfaces. Safety is enhanced via an operator presence system that automatically disables the trencher and ground drive if controls are released, and a trenching cleat prevents backward sliding during operation. The RTX200 includes a large hydraulic reservoir and oil cooler to manage temperature and extend system life.
